✨In Ancient Buddhist teachings… ✨ the Buddha reminds us that ārogya (आरोग्य) — health — is not merely the absence of illness, but the foundation upon which the entire path rests. 🪷💛🌸 In the Dhammapada, the Buddha said: 📜✨ “Health is the greatest gain, contentment the greatest wealth, trust the greatest relationship, and Nirvāṇa the highest bliss.” This verse is not just poetic, it is the true Dharma. In this verse the Buddha is reminding us that without ārogya, even the smallest task becomes heavy… but with health, even great effort becomes light. 🍃✨ A healthy body steadies the mind, and only a steady mind can approach Nirvāṇa (निर्वाण), the highest bliss. 🪷💫 When we are well, we believe we have a hundred problems… yet when we fall ill, suddenly we see we had only one. 🌼💛 So the teaching is gentle but firm: Guard your health, tend to your breath, and care for this body — not out of attachment, but because it is the vehicle that carries you along the path to awakening. 🍃🪷🌟
