In Ancient Buddhist teachings. The Buddha did not describe the path as a straight line polished to perfection. He described it as a walking path one taken step by step, with awareness, honesty, and the courage to correct oneself along the way. A young monk walks through tall grass, robe brushing against the earth. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is hidden. Each step is simply taken as it is. This is how the path is meant to be lived. “The Bodhisattva does not fear his own imperfections; he fears only abandoning the resolve.” This is upheld by adhiṭṭhāna (resolute determination [the quiet vow to continue walking the path without abandoning it, even in hardship]) 📿 And clarified through sacca (truthfulness [the courage to see oneself clearly, without distortion, excuses, or self-deception]) 🌔 Together, these teachings remind us that the path is sustained not by mood or circumstance, but by honest resolve. Even in darker phases of the journey with the mind abided in sincerity the direction is kept intact, and truthfulness continues to keep our hearts aligned. 🌸💫 So if you read this, may you walk steadily. Reflect honestly. Correct gently. And may the path unfold beneath your feet. 🙏🏻
