Most of us think we are just this body. But according to ancient Indian wisdom, what we call “I” is layered. There is the physical body we can see. The pranic body that keeps us alive. The mental body where thoughts and emotions move. The intellectual body that decides and judges. And the blissful body that we touch in deep silence, meditation, or sleep. And yet… none of these is who you truly are. At the center of all five layers is Ātma - the silent witness. Untouched. Unchanging. Always present. Meditation is not about creating peace. It is about slowly realising that you were never disturbed. Sit. Observe. Peel the layers. And notice what remains.
